Per il prossimo anno scolastico, sono arrivate ai nidi comunali 455 iscrizioni, a fronte dei 47 che non frequenteranno piú perchè passeranno alla scuola dell'infanzia. La lista d'attesa per il 2010/2011 é di 198. Poichè sono 98 i posti disponibili nei nidi convenzionati, non avranno il posto in 100. L'Assessore se l'è cavata, sostenendo che quei 100 hanno almeno un genitore non occupato. Quindi, a suo parere, non hanno necessitá effettiva. Noi, dal centro-sinistra,continuiamo a sostenere che serve un nuovo asilo nido comunale;
- alla n. 390 , di cui ero il primo firmatario sull'attuazione del Protocollo d'Intesa per il monitoraggio degli appalti pubblici , ha fornito un riscontro l'Assessore ai lavori pubblici Gilardoni (PdL). Sbalorditivo il senso della risposta che ha fornito: nella sostanza il Comune di Novara, che di quel Protocollo era stato il principale artefice, non lo ha rispettato. Il Comune, per esempio, non ha inserito negli appalti banditi quanto previsto dall'art. 7 del Protocollo d'Intesa ritenendo "non coerente con la norma civilistica l'inserimento di detta obbligazione".
L'assemblea ha poi votato all'unanimità due delibere, proposte dall'Assessore all'urbanistica Pep e (PdL, ma in rotta di collisione con l'asse Nastri-Mancuso), che correggono alcuni errori materiali del Piano Regolatore . Più tormentata e dibattuta la terza delibera di Pepe: l'adozione del piano particolareggiato di iniziativa pubblica denominato " Polo di Innovazione ". Con la delibera a Sant'Agabio sará possibile effettuare interventi misti: residenziali e terziario. Non ci sono in realtá idee precise sulla tipologia e sulla tempistica degli interventi. Su Sant'Agabio, la Giunta ha inanellato una serie di insuccessi con un notevole dispendio di denaro pubblico: 500.000 € per consulenze e gettoni di presenza di societá then closed (Novara future, Stu). Da oggi si è aperta la campagna elettorale. Di certo il centro-sinistra non può stare a guardare. E' nostro compito fare una proposta, che si consolidi in questi mesi nel merito (The program) and method (the primary). The center-right is not unbeatable.
