Il Comune di Cattolica aderisce anche quest'anno alla Giornata del Risparmio Energetico spegnendo per trenta minuti la pubblica illuminazione di piazza Roosevelt . In occasione del 150° anniversario dell'Unità d'Italia rimarrà illuminato solamente il tricolore esposto sul balcone di Palazzo Mancini.
La Giornata del Risparmio Energetico 2011, special edition per i 150 anni dall’unità d’Italia, è fissata per il 18 febbraio 2011. Anche quest’anno Caterpillar invita comuni, associazioni, scuole, aziende e case di tutt’Italia ad aderire all’iniziativa creando quel “silenzio energy "which involved the squares across Europe in recent years to make room, where possible, to ignition virtuous, based on renewable sources.
